Ite Isolanti – heating textile

Through a performance based approach, Cantene supported the design of a solution based on a heating textile to guarantee a comfort environment inside a train carriage by optimizing the use of the standard climatization system. A series of CFD analyses have been performed to evaluate the characteristics of the textile (W/m). CFD may be coupled to conventional design approaches in order to verify the effectiveness of innovative solutions, not tested in practice yet.
