Performance based approach. The analyses allow to identify the best solution for what concerns the smoke extraction system through the verification of the respect of safety goals: ASET/RSET and Temperature – time curve. RSET (request safety egress time) has been calculated through a pedestrian analysis developed using Pathfinder, an agent based simulator.
